[1] Additional Streetlighting Conwy CBC have begun work to extend the street lighting at the end of Mill Street on the B5106  

[2] Skip Services The next skip service will be at Pentre Du on the 17th Aug and the 15th Sept. The skip will arrive at 9.00 am and leave at approx 3.00 pm or earlier if full.  

[3] Miners Bridge A revised date for the new bridge is now October 2021

[4] Cae Llan Following the widening of the footpath, Conwy CBC will be undertaking further work to improve the field. It is proposed to spike the football pitch and outfield, chain harrow to create fine seed bed and feed with balanced fertiliser etc. In the spring level and reseed goalmouths and fertilise with nitrogen.

[5] Pont-y-Pair Toilets Conwy CBC arranged to have the toilets open until midnight but significant vandalism has occurred with theft also from the coin boxes.

[6] Affordable Housing Grwp Cynefin has submitted a planning application to erect 5 two storey affordable dwellings at the rear of the surgery at Pentre Du.

[7] Weatherman Walking BBC Wales are filming weatherman walking with Derek Brockway from Capel Curing to Betws-y-Coed in August . The programme will feature Derek visiting Swallow Falls on the way to Betws.

[8] Pont-y-Pair The Council is currently considering illuminating the river bank on both sides of Pont-y-Pair, subject to planning approval etc.

[9] Parking Bro Gethin Despite an offer of a significant contribution towards capital costs by the Community Council for the provision of parking spaces with Cartrefi Conwy retaining ownership of the land, disappointingly the Housing Association has advised that it does not have the resources to proceed.

[10] Old Church Road Residents at Old Church Road have expressed concern that camper vans are parking up overnight with considerable associated noise. Conwy CBC will be considering whether to enforce parking restrictions.
